THE BAND
Nazareth (originally called The Shadettes) formed in Dunfermline in 1968. The self titled debut album was released in 1971. The band's 3rd album Razamanaz (1973) was a major seller and spawned two UK top ten singles Broken Down Angel, and Bad Bad Boy. Nazareth released the mutli million selling Hair Of The Dog in 1975 which remains their most popular album to date. In 1976 Love Hurts reached number 8 in the USA singles chart (Billboard hot 100). The band remained very popular throughout the 1970s and are still active today.
