THUNDER - Six Of One... (2007)
As the title suggests, Six Of One... is not a full studio album from British band Thunder but a six track EP featuring three studio and three live tracks. The EP has been released as both a stop gap between albums and to coincide with the band's forthcoming tour. The three new tracks are great stomping rockers made by gents now old enough to know better, but thank god they don`t! Frontman Danny Bowes' once long hair is now cropped and silver, but his voice is still powerful and strong as can be heard belting out on the live tracks which are taken from recent albums. Thunder are resurgent at the moment and with quality song writing and good ballsy playing it`s easy to see why old fans are flocking back to see them on tour
Thunder`s next album should be a real corker if this mini collection is anything to go by. Stand out tracks include "Yesterday`s News", "Chain Reaction" and the live version of "A Million Faces".
