The Screaming Jets formed in 1989. They soon became known for their energetic live performances, and brash, lively style of rock music. Their influences include AC/DC and The Rolling Stones. In 1990 they won a national Australian battle of the bands, and were signed by Roo Art soon after.

Thin Lizzy are one of rock music's true classic bands. The band was formed in Dublin in 1969 by school friends Phil Lynott and Brian Downey. Their music was hard yet melodic and their signature twin lead guitar sound has influenced countless bands. Thin Lizzy had 9 top twenty singles in the UK, and released 14 albums before their demise in 1983.
After two poorly received albums Lizzy`s break came in 1973 when "Whiskey In The Jar" from the Vagabonds Of The Western World album became a hit single. Guitarist Eric Bell left soon after and Lizzy would begin their history of changing guitarists. 1974 saw American Scott Gorham, and Scotsman Brian Robertson joining the band on guitar. This new line up would be Lizzy`s most successfull and be regarded as the classic Thin Lizzy line up. 1975`s great "Fighting" album was followed in 1976 by the excellent major selling "Jailbreak". Jailbreak spawned several hit singles including the much loved "The Boys Are Back In Town" which went to number 1 in Ireland. Two strong albums followed Jailbreak, "Johnny The Fox" (1976), and "Bad Reputation" (1977), before Lizzy released their seminal live album "Live And Dangerous" in 1978.
Brian Robertson left in 1978 and was replaced by Gary Moore for the "Black Rose: A Rock Legend" album released in 1979. Thin Lizzy began a gradual decline after this time. Guitarist Snowy White joined after Gary Moore left. Snowy was replaced by John Sykes for Lizzy`s final studio album, 1983`s "Thunder And Lightning. Years of hard living had taken its toll on enigmatic frontman Phil Lynott. Phil disbanded Lizzy in 1983, and had been in talks with Scott Gorham to reform the band when he tragically died of a drugs overdose January 1986. A statue of Phil was unveiled on Harry Street, Dublin in 2005.
Various members of Thin Lizzy have taken part in reunion performances and tributes to Phil. Scott Gorham and John Sykes have toured regularly under the Thin Lizzy name since 1999, bringing Phil's music to new audiences and old friends across the globe.
