LOGAN - Cruel Little World (2006)

Logan are an incredible new talent bursting with enthusiasm and dead set on making their mark. Cruel Little World is the Glasgow band's third album and its vibrance and freshness is a real slap in the face. The album has a real cutting metal edge which still retains the band's trademark melodic rock sound.
Stand out tracks include opener "Stand To Reason", the excellent "Goodbye", and the crunching "Hallowed Ground". "When I Get Down" has already been released as a single which spent seven weeks in the UK rock charts top twenty.
Logan play rock music the way it should be - loud, gutsy, and with plenty of feeling.
SR rating of 9 out of 10.

LOGAN - Welcome To The Wasteland (2005)

Welcome To The Wasteland is the second release from melodic hard rock band Logan. The album consists of seven brand new tracks and a new version of fan favourite Like A Rain, which has an extended intro and really sweet sounding guitars. The new material is very strong and sees the Glasgow band forge onwards and upwards, developing into one of the best rock bands to come out of Scotland, if not the entire UK in years. Support slots with bands such as Diamond Head and Alter Bridge are helping to take their music to a wider audience. What makes this album even more remarkable is the fact that Logan are as yet unsigned, few other self produced albums can boast such quality sound and production. Stand out tracks include "Something Else" and "Gone".
Highly Recommended.
SR rating of 8 out of 10.

LOGAN - First Leaf Fallen (2004)

Logan are a little known hard rock band from Glasgow. First Leaf Fallen is their first album and shows great promise from this local talent. Their no nonsense approach comes from the same school as Creed, Pearl Jam, and AIC. Vocalist Kenny Collins dulcet tones fit the riff laden music perfectly. Stand out tracks are "Like A Rain" and "Had It All". With the recent success of other Glasgow bands such as Franz Ferdinand it would be great to see Logan coming to the fore to represent the heavier end of the market. Recommended.
SR rating of 6.5 out of 10.

LOGAN - At The Barfly, Glasgow 2/02/05

This was Logan's first headline gig since their impressive support slot with Alter Bridge last November. Our evening's support came from rockers Red Brick Tent. RBT gave a solid performance with some nice Thin Lizzy style twin lead guitar work.

Logan hit the stage shortly after and ripped into fans' favorite Like A Rain. The Glaswegian purveyors of melodic hard rock were in fine form and delivered a faultless 8 song set. As a band Logan play tighter than an Elephant's condom and heavy enough to rattle the floorboards. Yet they also have a thoughtfull, more sedate side which they showed during the "beautiful" Hey Mary. Singer Kenny Collins not only has a great voice but possesses that all important factor - stage presence.

Logan finished with a scorching new song, which left the audience happy and hungry for more. Logan are a band to keep a close eye on as they have real potential to go far.
